📰 India Post Issues New SOP to Fix IPPB Data Fetch Problems in Branch Offices

Image
The Department of Posts has released a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP No. 1) for resolving IPPB Data Fetch Issues in the Dream App. The SOP, issued on 27 June 2026 , explains why IPPB transactions sometimes fail to appear and what Branch Offices should do to prevent and resolve the issue. Step 1: What's Changed? Since May 2026 , the Dream App fetches IPPB transaction data only from the last successful fetch to the current time. The SOP identifies two major reasons: 🔹 Mismatch entries or wallet adjustments can create a difference in the Branch Office balance. 🔹 Improper BPM leave arrangements , where cash is not officially transferred to the substitute BPM, also create balance mismatches. When the Branch Office balance does not match, the system's balance validation fails, and IPPB tran...
