Rotational Transfers 2026: Andhra Pradesh Circle Issues Clarification



The Department of Posts, Andhra Pradesh Circle, Vijayawada, has issued a clarification regarding Rotational Transfers for the year 2026.



In a letter issued from the Office of the Chief Postmaster General, AP Circle, it has been informed that Para No. 3 of the earlier letter dated 11.02.2026 has been partially modified. All other provisions of the original order will remain unchanged and continue to hold good.

🔑 Key Highlights of the Clarification

Authorities must strictly follow the transfer policy guidelines issued by the Directorate vide

Letter No. 141-141/2013-SPB-II dated 17.01.2019.

Guidelines related to identification of sensitive and non-sensitive posts as issued by the Directorate vide

Letter No. 4-7/2009-Vig. dated 02.04.2025 must be adhered to.

Any amendments issued from time to time by the Directorate on the subject should also be followed.

The approved schedule for Rotational Transfers 2026 must be strictly observed while processing transfers.

The clarification has been issued with the approval of the competent authority and digitally signed by Neelamraju Ranga Rao, Assistant Director (Staff), O/o Chief Postmaster General, Andhra Pradesh Circle, Vijayawada.

📌 The order has been circulated to all concerned staff sections, regional offices, and recognised unions/associations for information and necessary action.

This clarification aims to ensure transparency, uniformity, and strict compliance with established transfer norms during the 2026 rotational transfer process.
